Don't Go Breaking My Heart Elton John Don't go breaking my heart I couldn't if I tried Honey if I get restless Baby you're not that kind
Don't go breaking my heart You take the weight off me Honey when you knock on my door I gave you my key
Nobody knows it When I was down I was your clown Nobody knows it Right from the start I gave you my heart I gave you my heart
So don't go breaking my heart I won't go breaking your heart Don't go breaking my heart
And nobody told us `Cause nobody showed us And now it's up to us babe I think we can make it
So don't misunderstand me You put the light in my life You put the sparks to the flame I've got your heart in my sights
Elton John is one of the greatest singers of all time. What's your reaction that he's your mentor this week and what song of him will you sing and why?I would love Elton John as a mentor. He's been in the business for around 40 years and right now, I need some great advice. I'm choosing "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" because I like up tempo beats and I think that I can do well with this song. Plus, I sang "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?" two weeks ago, so I can't do that.

Dawg, vocals for me were OK. I feel song choice could have been a little bit better. It is a great duo song, and I feel that would have made it 85% better, but since you can't do that I feel you did the best you could.

Thanks Randy. I really struggled with song choice this week.

This was....different.
I think we both know this wasn't your best--that being said, it definitely wasn't the worst of the night or anything, either.
I thoughti t was aight.Definitely better than some of the other performances tonight, and I agree that song choice was probably very hard this week.

Thanks Michael. I hope that I can find a song that suits me better next week.
